We had the opportunity to attend the PGA Show, where we got a firsthand look at the newest golf gear, equipment, and technology hitting the market. This experience allowed us to gain insights and knowledge that we're eager to share with our website visitors. Additionally, our team has a wealth of experience in the golf industry, our founder Chris Bajda worked for Reed Exhibitions, the company that runs the PGA Show.

MEET THE TEAM

Chris Bajda - After starting a successful eCommerce store specializing in groomsmen gifts, Chris decided to pursue his love for golf and create a new venture in the form Groovy Golfer. Having played golf for many years, Chris saw an opportunity to share his expertise and create a platform for fellow golf enthusiasts to connect, learn, and shop for quality golf gear. With his experience in eCommerce, Chris is excited to combine his two passions and create a dynamic online community for golf lovers worldwide.  Chris has an undergrad from the University of Vermont and worked for Reed Exhibitions for five years, where he helped manage the website for the PGA Show. 

George Keklik- Growing up in Connecticut among a family of entrepreneurs, George learned early that every great venture begins with a clear vision and relentless drive. He always knew he’d find his niche by building something of his own—something that blends passion with purpose. After college, he pivoted into the fitness industry, where prioritizing health and movement became not just a career, but a way to serve his community. He built strong relationships with members, sharing knowledge, leading by example, and helping people discover their best selves through consistent training and mindful habits.

Golf has always been George’s sanctuary: in his free time, you’ll find him on the course, chasing that perfect swing and a little quiet in the chaos of everyday life. It’s this love of the game—paired with a belief in personal growth and entrepreneurship—that gave rise to Groovy Golfer. George is on a mission to help fellow golfers elevate their performance, enjoy the journey, and bring a little style and groove to the greens.

Melissa Bajda - Melissa has been an avid golfer for many years and loves to share her knowledge and experiences with others. Melissa's husband shares her passion for the sport, and together, they have been researching and writing content to help golfers find great gear and plan fun outings and trips. Melissa's expertise as a teacher, combined with her love for golf, makes her an invaluable resource for anyone looking to improve their game or take their golfing adventures to the next level.
